“Jackknife clam”
A TASMANIAN STORY OF A VERY SPECIAL SHELL
My story of this special essence started at a beach in Blackmans Bay, Tasmania.
Over a number of years, I’ve walked along that beach often and frequently picked up shells or stones that interested me. Most of the shells I found were of the same variety and rarely did anything different show up.
It was a sunny day, with just a few wispy, fluffy clouds in the sky. The seagulls were squawking in the distance and the waves were gently working their way back to low tide.
As my feet enjoyed the cool water, my eyes were flitting between scanning the horizon, taking in the expansiveness and scanning the sand for something I might find for the bowl of shells on my kitchen bench.
Then out of the blue there they were!
Within about a two-metre square area were what I knew as ‘fingernail’ shells. I later found out they were called “Jackknife Clams”.
I carefully collected the long, thin, fragile shells and brushing the sand from them, I placed them in my vest pocket and continued my walk.
Now I had a bit more of a spring in my step, a little bit excited that I had found something different on this day…. Once home as I washed each shell, laid them on the kitchen bench to dry, went on with my day and forgot about them.
After a couple of days, my intuition kept prompting me to play with the shells, so I did.
I enjoyed comparing them, feeling them and lining them up into some sort of order according to size and colour. There were 22 shells that I had collected and that excited me as I knew that 22 was a powerful master number in numerology and has special meaning whenever it shows up.
After my final arrangement, not really knowing why, I took a photo. Then a week or so later I was prompted by Spirit to send the photo of the shells to Nancy Parker in Jannali in NSW.
Nancy has been creating Shell Essences for many years and is a master at her craft. Shell Essences are vibrational remedies created from energy found within specific shells and fossils. Their vibration resonates with the vibrational pattern of our cells, correcting imbalances within our rhythm of life (same principle as flower essences).
Nancy called me to ask if I could send the shell 6th from the top of the photo, so I patiently lined them back up according to the photo and with the right shell identified I laid it on a tissue on the kitchen bench, ready to package up and post.
Later that day a friend of my daughter’s came to visit and accidentally leaned on it... And the chosen shell was broken!!!
But….. It was only a slither of the shell that broke, the slither was long and thin. It broke exactly in with a straight line, from the side of the shell. The shell was broken yet still intact!
Disappointed at the time, it wasn't until later that I realised the broken aspect of the shell was in-fact a part of the message it was giving to us.
I placed the shell and the broken slither into a well-padded box and posted it to Nancy. After a couple of weeks she sent me a note and a bottle of the new essence “Jackknife Clam”.
Here is what Nancy wrote when she psychically communicated with the shell: -
“The Infinite Energy Essence of 'Jackknife Clam' was made among the mangroves on 7/7/2019 during low tide, but the low tide was just changing, and the high tide was beginning to slowly ripple in.
It was also a very foggy misty morning and distance was not really discernible, but there was a feeling of freshness, and knowledge that the rain had passed, and the sun would soon appear. The rocks were covered in small pools of both rainwater and sea water, and there was a feeling of stillness and peacefulness.
This essence that we all need now and, in the future, is to help us adjust to changing times – changing energies. Although there is promised to be more abundance, love and compassion, it is the changing from the “old” to the new that is knocking many around at present.
However, there may often be anxious memories “what if change comes upon us again? will we cope?” That is why this essence must continue to impart it’s comforting energy for as long as is required…..
Even those who welcome this new, more appropriate energy will feel somewhat unbalanced, especially during the early changeover which we are going through now. Adjustment to change is so important, for us all to accept that change is necessary and not something to fear.
When we can feel the different energies we can still remember and perhaps still be immersed in the slower more negative vibration, but at the same time become aware of the less dense vibrations and all the different possibilities that now await us, and this can be confusing…”
So, this little shell washed onto a beach in Tasmania and has promised to maintain its energy for at least a few generations until we are all adjusted and comfortable with the higher vibrational energies. The broken part of the shell represented the broken part of us! This was the time of Covid 19, which certainly broke humanity. Across the globe people suffered in some way or another.
I know a higher consciousness was letting us know it understood our "brokenness" and the essence had been sent to us to cope with what was unfolding around the globe.
The essence of ‘Jackknife Clam’ adjusts our energy so although we are aware of both the ‘old’ and the ‘new’ we feel comfortable and there is a feeling of positive anticipation.
